The Reds game this afternoon against the LA Angels will be broadcast on FSO and MLB.tv at 3:10 pm ET.

We’re opening up a Slack channel to discuss the game among our writers and you’re invited to join in. Please feel free to express your opinions. Or if you just want to lurk, that’s fine. Jose De Leon is starting for the Reds. The batting order is:

  1. Shogo Akiyama – LF
  2. Aristides Aquino – CF
  3. Curt Casali – C
  4. Derek Dietrich – 1B
  5. Alex Blandino – 2B
  6. Scott Schebler – RF
  7. Jonathan India – 3B
  8. Jose Garcia – SS
  9. Tyler Stephenson – DH
  10. Jose De Leon – RHP

It’s interesting to see Aquino in CF and Akiyama in LF. Also, Jonathan India gets a start at 3B. And Tyler Stephenson, who our Spenser Brown wrote about today, is the Reds DH.

Steve Mancuso

Steve Mancuso is a lifelong Reds fan who grew up during the Big Red Machine era. He’s been writing about the Reds for more than ten years. Steve’s fondest memories about the Reds include attending a couple 1975 World Series games, being at Homer Bailey’s second no-hitter and going nuts for Jay Bruce at Clinchmas. Steve was also at all three games of the 2012 NLDS, but it’s too soon to talk about that.
