As most people reading this know by now, today should have been Opening Day. But rather than lament the cancellation of the game and the uncertain status of the season, let’s look back on some happier times with another edition of Quarantine Scoreboard Stumper.
Some of our fondest Opening Day memories involve big home runs. Who could forget the walk-offs in 2006 and 2011? Or the big three-run blast by a player making his Reds debut just last year? Notice I didn’t mention any specific names here. That’s because you have to guess them!
A total of 66 Reds hitters have homered on Opening Day, dating back to 1904. If you follow us on Twitter, you already know a few. Name as many as you can below!
Just click the green “Play” button in the quiz embedded below and type in your answers. Note: You can type full names or just last names.
Let us know how you did in the comments!
